Does it read all my emails?
No. The extension reads the inbox thread list to identify which threads are waiting on you. It never reads email content unless you click 'Draft reply' on a specific thread. At that point it sends only the relevant thread excerpt to our server to generate a draft. Your inbox stays in your browser.
What if the AI draft is wrong?
That is exactly why Approvox exists. Every AI-drafted reply opens in Gmail's compose window for your approval. You read it, edit it, and send it — or delete it and write your own. The AI never sends anything on your behalf. You are the professional of record.
Does this work with Outlook?
Not yet. v0 supports Gmail (Chrome and Edge). Outlook web add-in is on the roadmap for a later release. If Outlook is essential for you, email us at hello@approvox.co.uk and we will let you know when it ships.
What happens after 5 free drafts per day?
After 5 drafts in a rolling 24-hour window, you see a paywall card in the extension. You can still use the wait-time panel (free, always) — you just cannot generate more AI drafts until you upgrade or the window resets. Unlimited drafts start at £79/month.
Is Approvox GDPR compliant?
Yes. All data is processed in the UK, encrypted at rest and in transit, and subject to a full Data Processing Agreement. Email content is only transmitted when you click 'Draft reply' — never passively. Our privacy policy and DPA are available on request.
What about my PI insurance?
Approvox strengthens your PI position, not weakens it. Every AI draft you approve is timestamped and logged with your professional identity.
